The Organization: Top-Ranked Law Firm
Summary: The Diversity & Inclusion Specialist will provide direct support to the Recruiting and DE&I Manager. This role will be responsible for a diverse range of internal and external facing functions, with significant room to take initiative and make an impact within the firm. Plentiful opportunity for taking lead and playing a critical role in supporting the growth of the firm.
Salary & Benefits: Base salary to $100K, plus generous paid bonus; medical, dental and vision coverage; generous paid time off; exceptional work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the Firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs, supporting the Firm’s DEI Committee
- Assist with managing internal DEI efforts via internal communications, programming and events
- Prepare D&I surveys, award submissions, reports and other data for firmwide communications, meetings, and other initiatives
- Keep up to date with trends within DEI; support with reporting on D&I metrics, measuring progress, strategy and effectiveness
- Support with engagement and maintaining of relationships with law schools and law student groups throughout the year
- Coordinate with team summer associate and recruiting events,
- Assist with firm-wide initiatives including health & wellness and diversity, equity & inclusion
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years of related DEI experience; preferably in a law firm or professional services company
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Knowledge of viGlobal applicant-tracking software, attorney-evaluation software and/or website management preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, highly organized, and strong attention to detail are required
- Must be able to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and act as a team player
