About the job

SUMMARY: The Director of Growth is a data-driven leader who will obsess over every detail of Parachute’s paid media performance. You will be responsible for optimizing and scaling our performance marketing efforts, relentlessly analyzing what’s working and what’s not. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strategic thinking, and hands-on management of campaigns and creative assets. You will lead our external agency partnerships and work closely with the in-house and external creative teams to ensure we’re producing high-performing creative that drives growth and revenue.

Reports to: SVP of Marketing

Location: LA Based (in office Tu/Th)

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for delivery of ecommerce revenue goals
  • Own the strategy, execution, and optimization of Parachute’s paid media campaigns across all digital channels, including Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, etc..
  • Own and deliver the performance marketing budget and forecasting process.
  • Obsess over marketing performance: Continuously analyze campaign results, identify trends, and act on insights to drive improvement. Pivot quickly when things aren’t working and scale what’s performing.
  • Lead and manage agency partners, ensuring alignment with Parachute’s goals and ensuring the highest level of execution in all paid media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to guide the creation of high-performing ad creatives that resonate with target audiences and drive conversions.
  • Oversee ad testing strategies and creative optimization, leveraging data to drive decisions on creative direction and ad formats.
  • Work cross-functionally with brand marketing, merchandising, and site teams to ensure seamless integration of messaging and creative across all paid media efforts.
  • Manage and optimize the paid media budget to achieve a balance of scale and profitability.
  • Provide regular reporting and performance insights to senior leadership, highlighting key wins, challenges, and areas for improvement, in a clear and concise manner.

Who You Are:

  • 8+ years of experience in performance marketing, 4+ years owning the performance marketing budget within an eCommerce environment.
  • Deep expertise in paid media channels (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, affiliate marketing) with a proven track record of driving growth and optimizing ad performance.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze performance and ecommerce data and derive actionable insights to optimize campaigns and creative.
  • Hands-on experience managing relationships with external agencies and leading teams to produce high-performing ad creatives.
  • A passion for innovation and constant iteration – you're not afraid to test new ideas and challenge the status quo.
  • Experience with creative development, including a proven track record guiding teams to create assets that drive performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and manage cross-functional relationships, and clearly articulate performance data to the executive leadership team.
  • Deep understanding of marketing and ecommerce KPIs and budget management to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Parachute takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. The estimated pay range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 plus generous semi annual bonus program.
