We are an early-stage, high-growth venture backed by forward-thinking investors, and we are seeking a strategic operator to help us scale.
Role Overview
The Director of Business Operations & Strategy will serve as a key partner to the executive team, driving operational excellence, building scalable processes, and shaping strategic initiatives that accelerate Troveo’s growth. This role blends hands-on operational leadership with big-picture strategic thinking. You’ll help define company priorities, design and implement cross-functional processes, manage critical business metrics, and provide data-driven insights that inform decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to define short- and long-term strategic priorities, OKRs, and growth initiatives.
- Lead market research, competitive analysis, and business modeling to inform product, partnership, and go-to-market strategies.
- Support fundraising, board reporting, and investor communications with financial models and strategic narratives.
Operations & Execution
- Build and optimize company-wide processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment.
- Oversee key business operations, including budgeting, financial planning, KPI tracking, and resource allocation.
- Drive execution of cross-functional initiatives, ensuring accountability and delivery against goals.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Partnerships teams to ensure operational readiness for scaling.
Data & Insights
- Own company-level dashboards, business metrics, and performance reviews.
- Translate data into actionable insights for leadership and functional teams.
- Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
Leadership & Culture
- Act as a thought partner and trusted advisor to leadership, helping Troveo stay agile and aligned.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, business operations, or strategy at a high-growth startup or technology company.
- Proven ability to scale operations in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; comfortable with data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence; able to influence at all levels.
- Experience supporting fundraising, board reporting, or investor relations is a plus.
- Passion for media and/or AI is strongly preferred.
