Apply to find out more. About you: You are a dynamic, skilled Linux based sys-admin / DevOps enginner with a passion for technology and a keen sense of pride in the work you do. You are a strong team player who thrives on close collaboration with your colleagues and takes shared ownership of the operations and infrastructure supporting our software solutions. You are focused on delivering high-quality, high-availability infrastructure to given timelines and are comfortable in an agile scrum environment. You are constantly seeking to improve both your own skills and the skills of others and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic company. You will be expected to contribute to planning sessions as well as help with the technical evolution of our products. Day-to-day, you will: •Develop and enhance the infrastructure and architectural framework that supports our systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. •Be the go-to person, and take ownership of operational support of our mission critical, high-availability systems. •Champion the best documentation and practices to make sure our systems are stable, resilient, scalable and secure. •Address critical issues by teaming up with Engineers and Support staff to troubleshoot high-impact issues (including providing necessary out of hours on-call support) Your skills and experiences might also include: •Linux (e.g. Ubuntu, Debian) and Windows and server administration. Experience with containerisation and orchestration tooling (Docker & Kubernetes). •Building and Developing in a Cloud environment (Azure, AWS) using both PaaS and IaaS solutions. Good understanding of computer networks: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, IPv6, firewall, BGP and network virtualization. Experience in using and maintaining Industry standard observability tooling (ELK, Nagios) •BigData administration using Apache Hadoop stack (Spark/Storm, HBase, HDFS). Knowledge of event-driven solutions and message queuing services (RabbitMQ or similar) •Desirable- Experience in system programming and scripting: Javascript (NodeJS), Python, Bash, Go, etc. Desirable). Some experience with infrastructure-as-code and continuous deployment (Ansible, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops). What are we all about?
