Job Summary

In this role, you will be working for Nuacem AI’s conversational AI platform as a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our Python, Java and Node.js projects. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery while maintaining high availability and scalability.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design, implement, and maintain the CI/CD pipelines for Python, Java, and Node.js projects.
  • Build and manage infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Ensure proper configuration management and version control of software artifacts.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Implement and maintain containerization using Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure security practices, including access controls, firewalls, and vulnerability management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure and deployment best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket or CircleCI.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP and E2E Networks.
  • Experience in implementing High Availability (HA) and clustering solutions.
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or npm/yarn.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
