Your mission Help build the backbone of modern investing. As a DevOps Engineer at Bitpanda, you’ll design and scale the infrastructure behind our trading and crypto platforms—impacting millions of users across Europe. If you’re passionate about fintech and love solving complex engineering challenges, this is your playground. What You’ll Do Design and evolve our cloud-native infrastructure using AWS, EKS, Istio, ArgoCD, Env0, and Confluent Cloud. Ensure reliability, security, and peak performance across all systems using tools like Datadog, Opsgenie, and generative AI tools like Claude and Cursor. Continuously improve and scale our Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines to support rapid product growth. Solve complex engineering challenges in scalability, automation, and distributed systems. Champion infrastructure as code, DevSecOps principles, and smart automation across all stages of development. Who You Are Deep experience building and operating infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, EKS, KMS, etc.). 5+ years working with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Terraform in production environments. Proficient with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD) and automation pipelines; bonus points for experience in Python or Go, and streaming technologies like Kafka. Comfortable managing modern data systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL (Aurora), MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis. A curious problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and collaborates easily across squads.
