About the role:
The Immunai software team in Zurich develops internal and customer-facing databases and software applications that facilitate the mapping of the immune system and the navigation of this map for generating novel insights.
As part of our software team, and in close collaboration with other DevOps engineers in the team and across the company, you will help provide the application and development infrastructure that makes it possible to address the challenge of mapping the immune system.
Location: Zurich
Reporting to: Senior Director of Software Engineering - Applications
What will you do?
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for our applications, both internal and customer facing.
- Automate the deployment and scaling of our applications using Kubernetes and related technologies.
- In collaboration with our IT and security team, implement and maintain security protocols.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with software team developers and internal users in an international environment.
- Collaborate with product teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
Required qualifications:
- University degree bachelor or master (ETH, Uni, FH) in a technical discipline or equivalent knowledge
- Experience with GCP (preferred), AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure
- Experience with CI/CD procedures and tools
- Knowledge of container and orchestration technologies
- Linux/Unix administration skills
- Good written and verbal communication in English
- Good programming skills are an advantage
- Experience with network technologies and cloud security are an advantage
