Design & Construction Project ManagerWe’re transforming how food is stored and moved – and we’re looking for a proven Design & Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new cold storage warehouse project in Christchurch.
About the Role
In this 18-month fixed-term position, you will be Lineage’s primary representative across the full project lifecycle – from design through to handover. You will lead the planning, governance, execution and commissioning of a technically complex and high-value facility. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of delivery on a strategically important project for a global logistics leader.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of a cold storage warehouse project in Christchurch
Manage project scope, program, budget, and contractor performance
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders including design consultants, general contractors, vendors, and authorities
Oversee quality assurance, risk management, health & safety, and regulatory compliance
Ensure refrigeration systems and insulated environments meet Lineage’s performance standards
Drive commissioning, training, documentation, and seamless handover to operations
About You
Extensive experience in construction or capital project delivery
Experience delivering industrial or cold storage projects valued >NZ$200M
Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture
Expertise in refrigeration systems, insulation, and MEP integration
Familiar with food-grade facility compliance requirements
Skilled in stakeholder engagement and contractor management
Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools
PMP, CCM or equivalent certification (preferred)
