Ensure reconciliation of material supplied to inhouse manufacturing shops, vendors and always maintain as per group norms.Ensure proper storage of different types of material e.g. perishable items, branded items, flammable items.Scrap and waste management (collection, storage, disposal, recording and reconciliation) as per ISO and group norms for ferrous, non-ferrous, plastics and all other scrap materials generated at the plant.Drive and implement the ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 management systems in Store areas.Drive SGIA, POKAYOKE, KANBAN and lean initiatives through Legrand Way program. Implement KANBAN, Safety, Near Miss , 5S and visual management in materials department.
Maintain Inventory accuracy and support cycle count for ABC classification based on transaction and value. Ensure periodic and error free cycle count for physical material inventory to match with the stock shown in the ERP system.Responsible for local purchasing of general items, consumables and maintenance spares from requisition to timely delivery and in compliance with group norms and DOA.Ensure return of rejected materials back to the suppliers within 3 days.Manage and develop team through job/account rotations, knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring.
