Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer – Power BI & ETL Specialist who can extract, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources and build robust Power BI dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have experience in SQL, Python, Power BI, and ETL tools like SSIS. This role involves integrating data from multiple systems such as ITSM, NOC, SOC, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:

Extract, clean, and transform raw data using SQL and Python

Build and manage ETL pipelines using SSIS and other ETL tools

Create curated datasets and structured data models for Power BI

Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI/SLA scorecards

Integrate data from systems like ITSM, NOC, SOC, and Finance platforms

Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to support reporting needs

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements

Perform ad-hoc data analysis and deliver custom datasets and reports
Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, optimization)

Experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards)

Hands-on with Python for scripting and data manipulation

Experience in building and managing ETL workflows (preferably SSIS)

Familiarity with API integrations (REST/SOAP)

Knowledge of systems like ServiceNow, Splunk, SAP, or similar is a plus

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Experience working in IT Services or a similar fast-paced technology environment

Knowledge of data governance and quality assurance best practices
