• Data Center Systems Engineer to design and deploy modular data center solutions for Armada's edge computing infrastructure
• Architect deployment end-to-end modular data center solutions including containerized, skid-based, or pre-fabricated modules
• Develop scalable rack designs optimized for compute, storage, and networking equipment
• Integrate power distribution, thermal management, cabling, and space utilization into high-performance rack solutions
• Read engineering documents including 3D CAD models, rack elevations, BOMs, airflow diagrams, and wiring schematics
• Create high-level Visio-style drawings for customer readiness
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, network, and facility engineers; support deployment and validation testing
• Assess and select vendors for rack hardware, cooling systems, PDUs, cabling, modular enclosures
• Evaluate emerging technologies in modular infrastructure, edge computing, liquid cooling, and DC power distribution
• Define design and deployment standards; drive automation and repeatability using DCIM tools, CAD templates, configuration management
• Work with sales and client teams to tailor solutions; present concepts to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, modular deployments, or rack integration design
- Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), Visio, and 3D modeling
- Familiarity with power and cooling standards (e.g., ASHRAE TC 9.9, Uptime Institute, TIA-942)
- Strong understanding of IT hardware (servers, switches, storage) and data center cabling best practices
- Ability to travel occasionally to data center or partner sites
