ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about leveraging data to drive operational excellence. This role blends technical breadth, business acumen, and analytical problem-solving skills, designed for someone eager to take on challenges and grow with us.
As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in turning complex datasets into valuable resources, and contributing to our culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- By 30 Days:
- Deliver analyses that guide decisions at Fathom.
- Learn about our dbt pipelines for transforming data.
- By 90 Days:
- Create updates in our ELT pipeline to move and transform data.
- Made new data accessible to the wider team through our BI tool (Omni).
- By one year:
- Perform in-depth analysis of customer lifecycles and segmentation, identifying improvement and growth opportunities.
- Automate anomaly detection of key business metrics to help flag any unexpected changes.
REQUIREMENTS
Hard Skills
- Advanced SQL
- Strong foundation in statistical reasoning.
- Experience in a SaaS environment (ideally B2B).
- Familiarity with our tech stack: BigQuery (or similar), Python
- Nice to have familiarity with: advanced data modeling, dbt, Looker/Omni, CRMs.
