Job Summary:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst (Contract) to join our client’s team on a temporary basis. This individual will assist in securing the organization's network and email infrastructure, conduct threat hunting, and support day-to-day cybersecurity operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with content filtering tools, email flow, and basic threat detection methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze network traffic and email flow to identify suspicious activity.
• Perform basic threat hunting and support incident response as needed.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize content filtering tools such as Cisco Umbrella, CloudKnox (CK), or Google Gateway (GG).
• Collaborate with senior security team members and follow established escalation paths.
• Document findings and assist with remediation efforts.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with content filtering solutions (CK, GG, Cisco Umbrella, or similar).
• Understanding of email flow and security (SMTP, anti-phishing tools, etc.).
• Hands-on involvement in basic threat hunting or exposure to threat analysis.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow the chain of command and established processes.
• At least one relevant certification: Security+, Network+, or equivalent network/security certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cisco security tools (any exposure is a plus).
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, ticketing systems, or basic scripting is a plus.
