Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Omaha, NE Type: Full time Our client is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer who’s passionate about securing modern cloud environments and driving automation-first security practices. If you enjoy improving security posture at scale and collaborating across engineering, security, and DevOps teams — this could be a great fit. What You’ll Work On Implement and enhance security controls across GCP cloud environments Build and mature cloud security tooling, automation, and monitoring Partner with engineering and IT teams to design scalable, secure cloud architectures Recommend and introduce modern security technologies and best practices Drive “policy-as-code” and “security-as-automation” within IaC + CI/CD pipelines Communicate security risks and requirements to both technical and business teams Enhance cloud security operations through scripting, automation, and APIs What You Bring 1–5 years of hands-on experience securing GCP environments Experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., Wiz, Prisma, Orca, Zscaler) Practical knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Bicep, etc. Experience working in DevSecOps or CI/CD environments (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.) Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and secure architecture design Nice to Have Experience in other cloud providers and/or regulated environments Security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or cloud security credentials) Ability to clearly communicate security concepts across teams
