SCHEDULE: Primarily Day Shift 4x10-hour shifts per week On-call obligation required MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post-2009) Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist Must have Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Scrub responsibilities across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations Ability to function independently within established protocols Competence in unit tasks assigned by the RN Sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and patient confidentiality Proficient computer and keyboarding skills SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: BCLS Certification Certification by an approved body (e.g., NBSTSA - CST, or NCCT - TS-C) Position Urgency: Normal Shifts: Days, Full Time State License Details: Upon Acceptance Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Specialty Type: Nursing Sub Specialty: Surgical Technologist Bilingual: No Holiday Coverage Required: No
