Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review credit risk models for impairment (IAS 39 and IFRS 9) and capital modelling.
- Participate in high-impact credit risk and capital management projects.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic risk advisory solutions.
- Collaborate with clients across multiple financial sectors to deliver quantitative insights and improvements.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education: Honours or Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a quantitative credit risk role, ideally within consulting or financial services.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in SAS; and other statistical software (e.g., R and Python) is advantageous.
- Must have excellent communication skills — capable of presenting technical models to non-technical stakeholders and executive management.
