We are looking for Content Writer with awesome content writing skills to be a part of our Ecommerce Web Team in Houston, Tx. This is a position to write content for our websites, product descriptions, Articles, Blogs, Social Media, and Marketing Campaigns. Our web team is a powerhouse team that focuses on website design, Ecommerce SEO, social media, and website optimization - all while building real, life changing connections with our customers. WHAT A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT LOOK LIKE: Create content specifically driven towards targeted marketing objectives; i.e. increasing brand awareness, promoting product sales, growing website traffic, generating leads, acquiring customers, and the increasing digital footprint of the brand. Improve or create text to describe products on our Ecommerce websites Write articles for our company Blog and Social Media Websites: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.. Improve or create text for our "How To" and "Do-It-Yourself" sections on our Ecommerce websites. Create new articles for our daily/weekly updates of our company web sites Assist with Search Engine Optimization techniques to improve positioning in Google Organic Listings. You will be working with our web team SEO specialist on this activity. Must enjoy writing content for our websites and be able to complete planned project agenda/goals with minimal direct supervision after initial training. Assist in gathering content and text to improve our company web sites. Skills: Bachelors degree (Preferably in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or Public Relations) 2+ years’ experience in tactics including content creation, editing, analytics, social media marketing and search engine optimization. Content Optimization for Search Engines – A demonstrated ability to create content that is optimized to drive traffic to web properties from search engines. Editing – Proven editorial skills including strong language skills and the ability to adjust content to remain consistent with brand, style and tone. Blogging – Successful management of a business blog that furthers organizational goals. Copywriting – An understanding of how to create and present content that persuades - both long form and short form.
