Content Writer

The Content Writer is responsible for developing high-quality, engaging, and well-researched articles, features, and interviews for print and digital magazine editions. The role requires creativity, strong storytelling ability, and a deep understanding of current trends, audience interests, and journalistic writing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, develop, produce and distribute evolve publication Pakistan and UAE

To achieve our company's objectives, develop and execute comprehensive content strategies.

Ensure that written content is clear, coherent, grammar- and punctuation-correct, and follows editorial guidelines.

Interviewing the guests and preparing for the interview.

To plan & host Evolve Podcast.

Make sure written materials are thoroughly proofread to identify and correct typos, spelling errors, and grammatical errors.

Ensure consistency in style, tone, and formatting across all editorial materials, following established editorial guidelines.

Assure high editorial and quality control standards by reviewing content for accuracy and factual accuracy.

Verify the accuracy of information, quotes, and references used in written content.

Prepare content for publication Pakistan & UAE, which may include formatting, layout, and conversion for various platforms (print, web, digital).

Choose supporting material, like images and illustrations.

Coordinate multiple editorial projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering content on time.

Ensure your headlines, subheadings, and captions are engaging and effective to enhance your content's readability and attract readers.

Conduct research to gather information and data required for accurate and informed content creation.

Adhere to the organization's or publication's style guide, and enforce consistency.

Organize published and unpublished content in order to facilitate retrieval and referencing.

Make sure that content complies with legal requirements, copyright laws, and ethical guidelines.

Manage social media and SEO to draw attention to all content of Evolve.

Any other tasks can be assigned, and when necessary, may be called upon to take on tasks and duties from other departments or peers' responsibilities, fostering adaptability and teamwork. Research, write, and edit articles, features, and opinion pieces for the magazine.

Conduct interviews with industry professionals, influencers, and notable personalities.

Generate original story ideas and contribute to editorial planning.

Ensure all content aligns with the magazine’s editorial tone, style, and theme.

Collaborate with editors, photographers, and designers to develop compelling layouts.

Proofread and fact-check all written materials for accuracy and clarity.

Meet strict publication deadlines for both print and online versions.

Stay updated on industry trends, lifestyle topics, and emerging news relevant to the magazine’s audience.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Journalism, English, Mass Communication, or related field.

Proven experience as a magazine writer, journalist, or feature writer.

Excellent command of English with strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

Ability to research and write across diverse topics.

Creativity and flair for crafting engaging narratives.

Strong time management and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in lifestyle, fashion, entertainment, or business journalism.

Familiarity with digital publishing tools and CMS platforms.

Basic understanding of SEO for online magazine content.

Strong interviewing and networking skills
