The Role
Join as one of our first AI engineers to build the computer vision pipeline that powers our device. You'll work directly with founders who've built unicorn companies and know how to ship fast. This is computer vision at its finest—real-time object detection, scene understanding, and visual AI that needs to work flawlessly in people's homes.
What You'll Do
- Build real-time computer vision and object detection systems
- Implement and optimize YOLO, VideoMAE, and similar CV models
- Work with Vision Language Models (VLMs) for multimodal AI experiences
- Deploy and optimize models for edge inference on consumer hardware
- Integrate computer vision with our broader AI system and device capabilities
- Performance tuning for real-time video processing constraints
- Build visual AI features that understand and respond to the user's environment
Requirements
- 4+ years experience with computer vision and deep learning
- Strong Python and/or C++ programming skills
- Hands-on experience with YOLO, VideoMAE, or similar CV architectures
- Experience with Vision Language Models and multimodal AI systems
- ONNX model deployment and optimization experience
- NVIDIA CUDA development for CV applications
- Track record of shipping real-time computer vision products
- PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, or similar CV frameworks
