We are looking for a remote, full-time Community Manager who is articulate, detail oriented and motivated by iterative, participatory and collaborative approaches to creative practice. Our Community Manager should be a creature of magic with ten hands and a matchless mind - Juggling hosting events, bringing in new partners, and stirring the pot to catalyze people on Dara to engage regularly, our Community Manager will have not a dull moment in their action packed day-to-day. Ideally, you are also an incredible writer, blogger and image-meddler, ensuring that the proposals, blogs, how-to manuals and reports we publish are perfectly put together.Key Responsibilities- Identifying potential partners & engaging existing partners- Drive engagement with our members through events and online exercises- Setup events and talks- Grant/proposal writing- Creating and publishing our weekly newsletterIdeal skills- Ability to work independently, a self-directed and disciplined manner with little oversight.- Great verbal and written communication- Events planning experience- You love people.- Creating and publishing our weekly newsletterPreferred LocationWe are based in Bangalore and Seattle and hence candidates must be available to meet at 9:30pm-11:00pm IST / 9-10:30am PST Monday-Thursday and some Fridays.Interested?Write to hireme@dara.network.
