Are you an experienced Clinical Lead/Nurse Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity in the Oldbury, West Midlands area?
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our client’s team and oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical care across their service. As the Clinical Lead, you will take responsibility for maintaining excellence in patient care, supporting and mentoring nursing and care staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best clinical practice.
As a Clinical Lead your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the clinical team, providing guidance, supervision, and clinical expertise.
- Ensuring safe, evidence-based, and person-centred care is delivered to all service users.
- Acting as a role model for clinical excellence and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitoring clinical performance and outcomes, conducting regular audits and implementing action plans where necessary.
- Liaising effectively with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, families, and other stakeholders.
- Supporting the Registered Manager in regulatory inspections and ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Leading on safeguarding, medication management, infection prevention, and clinical risk management within the service.
- Assisting with recruitment, induction, and development of clinical staff, including conducting clinical supervisions and appraisals.
- Developing and delivering clinical training and competency assessments for nursing and care teams.
- Managing rotas, delegating clinical tasks appropriately, and supporting in resolving staffing challenges.
- Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records in line with GDPR and professional standards.
Required Skills & Experience for this Clinical Lead Role:
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical or senior nursing role
- Strong knowledge of current clinical practices, legislation, and CQC regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in clinical audit, quality assurance, and risk management.
