Climate Change Specialist

Our client, a global asset manager is looking to recruit a Climate Change Specialist to join their growing Sustainability team. The purpose of this role is to help deliver key strategic objectives such as climate (net zero) and environmental issues. Key responsibilities Contribute to firmwide content and strategy environmental and climate change issues in relation to sustainable investments Represent the firm across a range of environmental/sustainability related industry bodies and initiatives Work closely with investment team and other senior stakeholder in relation to climate strategy and other ESG related thematic insights Actively involved in client engagement Support in the development on carbon risk tools Candidate requirements Minimum 7 years’ experience in ESG/sustainability with a particular expertise in climate change and environmental issues Passion for sustainable and ESG investing Strong academic record Excellent communication skills Collaborative approach to work Enthusiastic and positive Mason Blake is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications regardless of sex, marital status, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, religious belief or age.
