Phoenix Group LLC is working on behalf of Meptagon Group, a large international design and builder of industrial facilities, specializes in electro-mechanical works in various industries and disciplines.


Meptagon Group is expending its activities in the US via its subsidiaries:

• BCU Electric, Inc., a dynamic and growing medium-sized company in the electrical industry sector, Located in Ashland Ohio.

• DeBella mechanical Inc -a dynamic and growing small-medium-sized company in the mechanical works sector, Located in Santa Clara, California.

As we continue to expand our US operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CFO to join our team.


Position Summary:

The CFO will be a key member of the US leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the US entities- BCU electric Inc and DeBella Mechanical Inc. The main working place will be in BCU Electric’s offices, in Ashland, Ohio.


This role will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, manage budgeting and forecasting, support strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and international group reporting standards. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, international environment.


Responsibilities:

•Financial Reporting and Analysis:

o Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and its compliance also with IFRS.

o Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement.

o Prepare and present financial reports to international group management.

o Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

o Management and supervision over the accounting teams.

o Analize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to improve business performance.


•Budgeting, Forecasting and support in quoting:

o Develop and manage the annual budget and rolling forecasts.

o Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for deviations.

o Collaborate with department heads and projects managers to develop accurate financial projections.


• Compliance and Internal Controls:

o Ensure compliance with US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control policies.

o Implement and maintain effective internal control procedures.

o Coordinate with external auditors, attorneys and tax advisors.

o Ensure compliance with international group financial reporting requirements.


• Cash Management:

o Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity.

o Manage and develop the relationship with banks and monitor financial needs.

o Forecast cash requirements and optimize cash utilization.


• Payroll Oversight:

o Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

o Ensure accurate payroll reporting and tax filings.

o Manage payroll systems and processes.


• Union Relations:

o Manage financial aspects related to collective bargaining agreements.

o Ensure compliance with financial obligations outlined in union contracts.

o Work closely with union representatives on financial matters.


• Team Leadership and Collaboration:

o Supervise and mentor finance staff.

o Collaborate with other departments and international group finance teams.

o Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.


• Commercial

o Support in quoting, tendering and bidding.

o Take care of insurance policies and oversee the reporting to the insurance companies.

o Review and comment on commercial contracts.


Qualifications:


Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial management or senior controlling role, preferably in a medium-sized company or subsidiary of an international group.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.

• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Experience working with unionized Labor environments and managing financial aspects of collective bargaining agreements.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred:

• CPA or CMA certification.

• Experience with international financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS).

• Experience working in a multinational group.

• Experience in the industrial and project companies’ sector and project reporting (i.e WIP and rate of completion calculations, progress reports, etc).

• Experience with financial and ERP systems implementation.
