Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative , a member owned and community focused rural electric power utility, is seeking qualified candidates to replace our retiring CEO.

Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative (SREC) provides electric power to nearly 12,000 consumers, has an operating revenue in excess of $33 Million and 37 employees who are dedicated to the safe and reliable delivery of low-cost energy and quality services to our members across Grant, Lafayette and Crawford Counties, with lines that also extend into the adjoining counties of Green, Iowa, Vernon, and Richland Counties in Wisconsin, and Jo Daviess and Stephenson Counties in Illinois.  The wholesale electric power supplier is Dairyland Power Cooperative.

The Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative is nestled in the heart of rural Wisconsin in Lancaster, located 34 miles from Dubuque, Iowa and 82 miles from Madison, Wisconsin.  We proudly provide power to14,667 meters across 3,546 miles of line.  Located in the Driftless Region , a hilly landscape of deep valleys and bluffs, our members enjoy everything from hunting and fishing to hiking and boating, with convenient access to the Mississippi River.  Our rural area is home to many farms, small towns, local businesses, and great schools.  Our members are deeply committed to their communities and actively support local sports. We are family rich and community focused which are reflected in the values and culture of SREC.
