Morgan Stanley's Firm Risk Management (FRM) Division is an exciting and rapidly growing space. We support Morgan Stanley to achieve its business goals by partnering with business units across the Firm to realize efficient risk-adjusted returns, acting as a strategic advisor to the Board and protecting the Firm from exposure to losses as a result of credit, market, liquidity, model and other risks.

Background on the Position

The role will reside within the Firm Risk Management's Capital/Stress Testing, Investment Management Risk and Risk Data area. The Executive Assistant will provide support to Executives in general office duties, calendar management and office workflow. In addition to providing direct support to management, you will be expected to provide administrative and team support to the overall department, including floor management. Primary Responsibilities
> Maintain executives' calendars, schedule all meetings and conference calls, field emails and phone calls requesting meetings, handle meeting conflicts and prioritization issues
> Coordinate all related conference rooms including any catering, audio/videoconference set up
> Make domestic and international travel arrangements, including logistics related requirements as needed
> Prepare, submit, and monitor expense reports and vendor payments for team members
> Manage other miscellaneous administrative activities including technology requests, onboarding new employees, preparing copies, managing supplies, coordinating equipment needs, reviewing/distributing incoming mail, and maintaining a fully functioning work area for the team
> High level of professionalism and business etiquette
> Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Executive Administrative Assistant role
> Tact and good judgment in confidential situations and proven experience interacting with senior management
> Strong verbal and written communication skills
> Strong working experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook
> Knowledge of general office procedures (e.g., correspondence, scheduling, expenses, calendar management)
> Good problem-solving ability and ability to multitask and juggle competing priorities within tight deadlines
> Able to take independent initiative for action within areas of responsibility
> Flexibility regarding the duties assigned

This role is hybrid and currently requires in-office attendance 3 days/week. The in-office requirement is subject to change at any time.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $105,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
