IMPACT: As part of the Business Applications team, you’ll support and enhance the company’s ERP system (Oracle EBS and other enterprise platforms) and play a hands-on role in driving efficiency across business operations. You’ll collaborate closely with end users, IT peers, and vendors to ensure systems and processes align with business goals.

IDEAL BACKGROUND: The ideal candidate brings a strong background in ERP systems along with broad experience supporting business applications across their entire lifecycle—from implementation and configuration to data reporting and continuous improvement.  

 

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a key connector between business users, business leaders, IT, and external vendors to keep systems aligned with operational needs.
  • Configure, support, and optimize the company’s ERP and related business systems.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Perform end-to-end system testing and ensure smooth deployments.
  • Partner with ERP vendors to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports to support decision-making.
  • Support system integrations (ETL, B2B communications, SaaS delivery).
  • Participate in cross-functional projects that enhance IT operations and business efficiency.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, IT, or related field required.
  • 8+ years of business systems experience as a direct employee, preferably including a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ERP experience (One or more of the Oracle EBS R12 areas; Financials, Manufacturing, Supply Chain).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP configuration, integrations, and reporting.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels—including C-suite executives.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL-based databases (queries, stored procedures, views).
  • Exposure to analytics, reporting tools, Domo, and Power Platform is a plus.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to learn and apply new technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain business language.
  • Flexibility to travel locally as needed. Some travel to another plant may be required.
  • Reside within a reasonable commute to Charleston, SC or willing to relocate upon hire (assistance provided - must be in the USA)
  • Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder
