The Opportunity
As Business Development Lead (APAC), you will drive institutional partnerships, capital attraction, and strategic growth across the Asia-Pacific region.
This senior commercial role requires a strong understanding of both traditional finance and decentralised finance, with a focus on institutional and high-net-worth engagement. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to identify market opportunities, build long-term relationships, and grow the firm’s footprint across key regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and execute business development and capital attraction strategies across the APAC region.
· Represent the organisation to institutional investors, venture funds, and UHNWIs.
· Structure tailored investment and product solutions to achieve sales targets.
· Collaborate with internal BD and SDR teams to strengthen regional lead generation.
· Cultivate relationships with strategic partners, investors, and funds.
· Represent the company at Web3, DeFi, and fintech industry events.
· Monitor regional regulatory developments and competitive trends to guide strategy.
Key Requirements
· 5+ years’ experience in business development, with at least 3 years in crypto, fintech, or investment sectors.
· Deep understanding of both traditional and decentralised finance concepts.
· Proven success in capital raising, institutional partnerships, and growth leadership.
· Strong professional network across institutional and digital finance ecosystems.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
