Position Summary
Key Responsibilities and Skills
Elicit, analyze, and document all functional and non-functional requirements (user stories, use cases, specifications) from stakeholders.
Serve as the primary communication bridge between the business users/owners and the project team (developers, architects, vendors).
Work with the Project Manager (PM) to clearly define and manage the project scope and boundaries.
Analyze current state ("As-Is") business processes and design future state ("To-Be") processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain a centralized repository of requirements and business rules throughout the project lifecycle.
Proven experience working in both Agile (writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria) and Waterfall (creating detailed functional specifications).
Mastery of various techniques: interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis.
Ability to map "As-Is" and design "To-Be" processes using standards like BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and vice versa. Must be an effective workshop facilitator.
Ability to identify the root cause of a problem (not just the symptom) and evaluate multiple solution options (build vs. buy, impact vs. effort).
Skillful in managing conflicting requirements and mediating between business users to drive consensus on scope.
