As Barista you will be responsible for the following duties: • Ensuring proper mise en place at the bar and setting up the bar station, maintaining equipment, and conducting regular inspections with the technical and housekeeping teams • Supporting the service team in serving food and beverages and providing expert guest advice • Actively upselling products and services to meet guest needs through exceptional service • Ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards and supporting other tasks as directed by the outlet manager • Training and onboarding new employees, proactively creating WOW moments for guests, and handling guest complaints effectively As Barista, we expect from you: • Experience as a barista in a professional environment with a strong focus on guest service, ideally in a 5-star hotel; • Legal permission to work in The Netherlands (permit or EU-passport); • Speaks and understands English; • Accommodation in or around Amsterdam; • A strong sense of responsibility, flexible work ethic, and eye for detail.
