Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to join our collaborative and innovative Aviation team.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the project manager for aviation projects
- Leading and performing aviation civil engineering tasks
- Preparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and permits
- Leading proactive client interactions and communications with regards to FAA programming, and state and government agencies
- Performing QA/QC tasks
- Supporting onsite during construction as the Engineer of Record, providing construction management/construction administration management to resident engineering teams.
- Travel within the FAA Northwest Mountain Region is required (approximately 20% of time)
A valid driver’s license and good driving record is preferred. A background check may be required.
The successful candidate must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university AND at least eighteen (18) years of relevant experience
- PE required
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
- Experience leading complex aviation design and construction projects
- Airport design experience at medium or large hub airports
- Experience serving as the project manager on aviation projects
- PMP certification
- Experience mentoring and leading engineering project teams
- Construction management experience
- Minium two years’ experience at a project manager level
- Licensed civil engineer in Washington, Oregon, or Colorado (or has the ability to obtain state specific license through NCEES)
- Proficient AutoCAD Civil 3D skill set
