Title - App Dev Engineer
As a App Dev Engineer on the Atlassian Corporate Engineering- Finance Technology team, you will get the opportunity to work on Oracle Fusion Cloud and other Finance SaaS applications that help modernize Finance Operations by embarking on transformations, automation, AI/ML and other Finance priorities.

• You will use your expertise to develop innovative solutions, address critical system issues by identifying root causes, and respond quickly when uncertainty or problems arise.

• You will have the opportunity to work with other application development engineers to develop technical solutions and delivering projects which drives the business.

• You will also collaborate with other teams and internal customers to set expectations, gather input, and communicate results.

Responsibilities
In this role,

• You will play a role of an Individual Contributor and be part of a team comprised of application development engineers across all job levels.

• You will guide run-the-business(RTB) operations and projects and partner with engineering teams to take on company-wide initiatives spanning multiple projects.

• You will work on all Core Financial modules (OM, AR, AP, FA, GL).

• You will ensure all projects are meeting the company objectives.

• Understand current operational challenges and inspire the team with an automation mindset using RPA and low-code/no-code tools to drive efficiency across the Finance team. Additionally, you will gain insights into AI/ML and explore how these technologies can significantly improve Finance operations.

• Best of Breed SaaS: We have created a best-of-breed SaaS ecosystem tailored specifically for our Finance operation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, build, integrate, and support a diverse range of SaaS applications. Primarily Oracle Fusion ERP, along with other applications including Coupa, Concur, Blackline,Zuora, Anaplan, Avalara, and Fieldglass.

• Metrics-driven: Cultivate a strong passion for metrics and outcomes within the teams, and help your team to make sure the outcomes are not only achieved but are also measured to ensure efficient execution and effective delivery of work.

• Collaborate with diverse minds: Partner with a brilliant team of engineers, data scientists, and Technical Product managers, cross-pollinating ideas and learning from each other's expertise

• Make a tangible impact: Your work will directly influence the reliability and performance of Finance systems, driving customer satisfaction and propelling our business forward.

• You will make an impact across various business teams, including Procurement, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Receivables, Accounting, and Internal Audit.

• Routinely tackle complex architectural challenges, spar with other principal engineers to build and maintain critical integrations to Fusion ERP, including new M&A projects as and when it occurs. Develop code, review & document the technical solution as well as take on complex bug fixes, especially on high-risk problems.

Qualifications:

• At least 4+ years of industry experience working as a hands-on Technical Developer. Technical knowledge on FBDI, AdFDI, OTBI and BIP reports.

• Expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud on O2C and P2P cycle.

• Experience in REST/SOAP APIs and building automations. Basic technical knowledge on tools like POSTMAN,SOAPUI and any integration applications like OIC, Workato, Camunda.

• Good understanding of Agile method of application development and supporting large organisations.

• Exposure to upstream and downstream systems such as SalesForce and Databricks would be a plus.

• Familiarity with AI/ML, and implementation of use cases for any business function

• Comfortable operating a 24x7 highly reliable system and driving a culture of continuous improvement from the understanding of previous incidents.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills as this role requires interacting with senior Finance and Engineering stakeholders
