Job Title:Automation Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing, upgrading and maintaining existing automation processes.
- Design new automated actions to accelerate current manual processes.
- Administration of orchestration platforms utilized for Server provisioning and configuration.
- Ensure operational issues are monitored and addressed.
- Create, maintain and manage documentation relating to the technical configuration and user guides.
- Identity new solution strategy for automation where required.
- Create and maintain task sequences / software packages in SCCM for server deployment and enhancing the workflows VMware vRealize Orchestrator
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Total of close to 15 years of experience
- 5+ Years' prior experience in a 3rd Line support position
- 3+ Years prior experience in a Developer/Automationrole
- 3 +years' experience work with realize Orchestrator & VMware technology
- VMware/Hyper-V
- VMware vRealize Orchestrator
- Expensive knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- PowerShell - ability to write scripts and automate tasks
- Windows Server 2012-16
- Solid industry experience of software (and ideally hardware) architecture, including, databases, clustering and load balancing, distributed file-systems, storage, virtualization, architecture and design patterns
- Automation focused mind set and ability to automate tasks
- Extensive experience of design leadership - ideally with enterprise systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to communicate and build relationships with technical teams
- Knowledge of technologies including PowerShell scripting, Python, Rest API knowledge, Puppet, Terraform and Jenkins
