About the job
As Automation Engineer you will play a critical role in providing technical support on vision and Automation Systems of our clients and will be responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of systems and control panels around serialization and packaging projects field executions in the pharmaceutical industry.
Requirements
- English language is a must. Ability to use German or French is also a plus.
- Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience in automation.
- 60% travel requirement within Europe.
- Ability to understand P&ID drawings, network diagrams, panel layout drawings and electrical schematics.
- Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions.
- Ability to compose letters, outlines, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical information.
Responsibilities:
- Support in the configuration tasks for automation equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, robotic systems, and SCADA systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Setup and fine-tuning equipment for optimal performance and support FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ as Automation perspective.
- Installs new or modified packaging equipment at customer’s facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications, including electrical testing and vision system set up.
