Summit Hearing Aid Center is seeking a self-motivated and compassionate Audiologist to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a respected private practice known for delivering exceptional results and lasting patient relationships.
The Audiologist will focus on comprehensive hearing care for adults, including diagnostics, counseling, and hearing aid fittings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients improve their daily communication through personalized amplification solutions rather than complex medical diagnostics.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations and recommend appropriate hearing solutions for adult patients.
- Conduct hearing aid evaluations using both quantitative and qualitative outcome measures.
- Complete clinical assessments, including CAE, tympanometry, reflexes, reflex decay, QSIN, Verifit, soundfield testing, and tinnitus evaluations as needed.
- Fit and program daily wear and extended-wear (Lyric) hearing aids, masking devices, and devices for misophonia (training provided)
- Take ear impressions and provide custom earmolds, swim plugs, musician plugs, and hearing protection.
- Provide ongoing counseling, follow-up care, and adjustments to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Doctorate (Au.D.) or Master's degree in Audiology
- Current New Jersey Audiology license with dispensing privileges
- At least one (1) year of post-licensure experience in hearing aid dispensing and clinical audiology
- Experience with Lyric extended-wear devices and/or custom-fit solutions preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Salary Plus Bonus Potential $110,000-$130,000
