Role Summary

The Audio Group at Rivian is responsible for in-vehicle acoustics, media and infotainment playback, audio hardware design and much more. We have a deep passion for audio and how things sound. We are looking for someone to design and implement automated testing of our audio software and hardware.


Responsibilities

  • Build test DSP framework for audio experiences
  • Build DSP algorithms like noise suppression
  • Evaluate new DSP platforms for given work loads
  • Optimize algorithm implementation
  • Implement algorithms on target DSP

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, EEE or related program
  • 4+ years of MATLAB and/or Python programming
  • C or C++
  • Experience with audio DSPs – Sharc, HiFi, Hexagon
  • Experience with audioweaver or similar DSP frameworks
  • Experience with version control systems (git, etc)
  • Experience with build systems and artifact repositories (Scons, Bazel, JFrog Artifactory)
  • Experience with software and infrastructure automation
  • Enthusiastic self-starter
  • Good communication and documentation

 

Nice to have:

  • Automotive experience
  • Critical listening skills

Pay Disclosure

  • Salary Range for Bay Area Based Applicants: $157,000 - $181,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)
  • Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26
