Position - Associate Merchant Payment Specialist

Brief Explanation

This role is responsible for managing communications with creditors and merchants on legal matters, including coordinating with external legal counsel. It will also involve reviewing shop ownership changes related to legal issues.

Additionally, the specialist will support the Finance team by preparing reports on payout amounts, assisting the manager with the Accounts Payable (AP) Dashboard, and processing reimbursements to merchants for any discrepancies in customer orders. This includes handling fees and referral programs applied by the company.

The Winning Recipe

Review and investigate legal notices.

  1. Collaborate with legal counsel on case-specific legal matters.
  2. Provide guidance to the account management team for Change of Ownership cases related to legal issues.
  3. Coordinate with banks to resolve unknown or incorrectly endorsed checks
  4. Prepare and deliver accurate reports for Finance and Customer Service teams.
  5. Administer and ensure proper handling of reimbursement cases through accurate preparation of courtesy credit reports.
  6. Work cross-functionally with the account management team to streamline workflows and enhance operational processes.
