Our client is an international law firm with an extensive global network, serving a wide range of prestigious international clients.The firm has a collaborative and supportive culture. They are looking for a commercial-minded Associate to be part of their growing Asset Finance practice.
Responsibilities
Reporting to a team of partners in the firm's highly-regarded Asset Finance practice you will be a vital member of the team advising on complex, high-quality asset finance transactions across multiple jurisdictions for clients including major airlines, ship-owners, lessors, financial institutions, and export credit agencies. You will be involved in developing legal strategies, understanding the commercial aspects of financial transactions, and provide practical, business-oriented advice to international clients.
Requirements
You must have at least 2 PQE and are qualified in Singapore, England & Wales, or other common law jurisdictions. You should have experience in banking and finance transactions and experience in asset finance with either the aviation or shipping areas being advantageous. You must possess excellent legal and drafting skills with strong attention to detail. You have a strong track record of demonstrating strong ownership and initiative, are meticulous and detailed, able to prioritise and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
