JOB SUMMARY:
The Department of Physics at Saginaw Valley State University invites a diverse pool of applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin July 1, 2026. We seek a collaborative individual showing potential for excellent undergraduate teaching across the physics curriculum and research goals commensurate with a primarily undergraduate institution focused on preparing students for careers after a bachelor's degree. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate support for and receive support from other physics department members, in our mission to serve undergraduate students. Area of research specialization is open.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Ph.D. (or ABD) in physics or a closely related field is required.
- Experience and ability to positively interact with all members of the campus community
