About the Role
Prenton Primary School is seeking a dynamic and visionary Assistant Headteacher to join our committed Senior Leadership Team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the school, drive outstanding teaching and learning, and ensure every pupil achieves their full potential. While the role is largely leadership-focused, the successful candidate will teach for half a day each week. The successful candidate is required from 1st January 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
As a highly visible and supportive leader, you will champion inclusive education and the needs of all learners, including those with SEND. You will take responsibility for key areas of whole-school leadership, and as a subject lead, you will oversee the development and delivery of your subject, ensuring high standards of learning, engagement, and communication across the school. You will support and inspire staff to deliver innovative and effective lessons while promoting consistent progress and achievement for all pupils.
The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with pupils, families, governors, and external partners, inspiring and challenging the school community to continually improve and achieve excellence.
