About the job
Do you love cars, engineering, or just figuring out how things work?
We’re looking for a workshop apprentice to join our small, skilled team building low-volume dampers for high-performance and niche vehicles.
This isn’t mass production – everything we do is about precision, quality, and attention to detail. You’ll be working with experienced technicians, learning how to strip, build, and test dampers that end up on some seriously cool vehicles. If you enjoy hands-on work, want to pick up proper workshop skills, and like the idea of being part of a team where your work really matters, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Helping to build and service dampers, learning each step of the process.
- Preparing, cleaning, and measuring components before they’re assembled.
- Using specialist tools and workshop equipment (don’t worry – we’ll train you).
- Getting involved in testing and checking parts to make sure they meet spec.
- Keeping the workshop tidy, organised, and safe.
- Picking up new skills every day from people who’ve been doing this for years.
- One day a week on site learning at College.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who’s hands-on, practical, and keen to learn.
- Interested in cars, engineering, motorsport, or mechanics.
- Good attention to detail – you’ll need to be careful and precise.
- A team player who’s reliable and shows up ready to get stuck in.
- No previous experience needed – just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
What You’ll Get
- Proper training and support from experienced technicians.
- Real workshop experience building specialist parts, not just sweeping floors.
- A chance to grow into a skilled role within a niche automotive company.
- A supportive team environment where questions are encouraged.
- Future career progression.
This is a great opportunity if you’re starting out and want to build a career in automotive engineering. You’ll be learning skills that will set you apart – building parts you can be proud of.
