OPEN RANK POSITION IN APPLIED MATHEMATICS
The Applied Mathematics Program of Fulbright University
Vietnam invites applications for an open rank full-time position in Applied
Mathematics to begin August 2026. We welcome candidates from all
fields of applied mathematics, with particular interest in those specializing
in statistics or data analysis, especially with connections to Data Science or
Finance. The Applied Mathematics major at Fulbright University Vietnam is both
theoretically rigorous and highly interactive and interdisciplinary.
Fulbright Vietnam seeks scholars and educators who care
deeply about developing students as engaged learners and citizens, working in a
transdisciplinary environment, and participating in a start-up university
environment.
Successful candidates are expected to teach 5 courses per
academic year including Core courses, foundational and intermediate courses in
pure and applied mathematics, upper-level courses related to their area of
specialization, as well as advising undergraduate student research projects and
capstone experiences. Successful candidates should have demonstrated excellence
in both teaching and research, as well as a desire to work with and develop
undergraduate students.
Qualifications
Candidates are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in
Mathematics or Statistics by the time of employment.
