Eligibility Criteria
Administrative Officer
- Pay Level: 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
- Qualification:
- Minimum three-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Three years’ experience in administration in Central/State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Organisation as Section Officer or equivalent.
- Desirable: MBA/PG Diploma in HR; computer knowledge in HR operations.
Accounts Officer
- Pay Level: 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
- Qualification:
- Minimum three-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Three years’ experience in Finance & Accounts in Central/State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Organisation as Section Officer or equivalent.
- Desirable: CA (Inter)/ICWAI (Inter)/MBA (Finance)/M.Com, ISTM training in Cash & Accounts, computer proficiency in accounting software.
Age Relaxation
Applicable as per Government of India rules:- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years (up to max age 56 years)
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- Central Govt. Employees (with ≥3 years service): 5–10 years depending on category
Examination Details
Scheme of Examination
- Stage-I: Written/CBT Test (80 marks)
- Administrative Officer:
- 60 MCQs on General Administration, CCS Rules, FR/SR
- 20 MCQs on General English, Aptitude, Awareness, Basic Computer
- Accounts Officer:
- 60 MCQs on General Financial Rules, Accounts & Bookkeeping
- 20 MCQs on General English, Aptitude, Awareness, Basic Computer
- Administrative Officer:
- Stage-II: Interview (20 marks)
- Conducted by ICMR, New Delhi.
- Final merit will be based on combined marks of CBT and Interview.
