About the job
We're seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our Operations Technology team. In this role, you'll design, build, and support AI/ML solutions that drive innovation and business performance across a global environment. What you'll do: · Deliver AI/ML projects from concept through to production. · Design and implement scalable software solutions, leveraging Azure AI, OpenAI, and other LLM platforms. · Build and optimise RAG pipelines, embeddings, fine-tuning, and inference workflows. · Collaborate with developers, analysts, and testers to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable applications. · Provide proactive application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. · Apply DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerisation, and automated testing. What we're looking for: · 3+ years' experience in machine learning, data science, or related fields, plus 1-2 years in AI/MLOps. · Strong skills with Azure services (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, ML, Functions). · Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector search tools. · Proficiency in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas) and SQL/Postgres. · Bachelor's or postgraduate qualification in Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Software Engineering. · Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software lifecycle practices.
