What You'll Do
- Design and implement intelligent workflows powered by foundational models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
- Investigate and incorporate multi-step reasoning through Chain-of-Thought and agent-style methodologies
- Fine-tune open-source models or conduct prompt tuning experiments to enhance task accuracy
- Utilize tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to rapidly prototype and iterate on products
- Engage across the tech stack to integrate AI features (Node.js + Supabase + React)
- Conduct micro-model evaluations to assess hypothesis-to-output cycles
- Leverage AI to enhance your own workflow and automate internal tools
- Contribute to our experimentation engine to determine the optimal use of models
- Implement AI Voice agents
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a startup environment, adaptability to chaos, enthusiasm for learning new skills, and a proactive approach towards responsibilities
- Familiarity with foundational models (such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Mistral, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of prompt engineering, reasoning pathways, agent orchestration, and invoking tools
- Practical experience in model fine-tuning and utilizing vector stores
- Proficient in using Cursor or Claude Code, with daily usage preferred
- Solid backend expertise in Node.js and Supabase/Postgres
- Ability to create UI flows using React
- A strong passion for leveraging AI not merely as a tool but as an integral aspect of product design
