About the job

Employees will be picking Strawberries and Raspberry, they will be planting, and harvesting Strawberries and Raspberry. Employees are required to handle a variety of manual labor tasks including but not limited the production and harvesting activities. Workers must be able to perform manual labor with accuracy and efficiency. Crops grown on the farm are Strawberries and Raspberry No smoking, no illegal drugs, no alcohol or weapons of any kind in housing or fields permitted. The Company will provide tools and equipment necessary to perform all required tasks at no cost to the worker. Tools and equipment will include knives, hair nets, shears, clippers, and gloves if needed to perform the job. Workers will be picking Strawberries 85% of the time. Weeding will be required only as needed. The employer will abide by 8 California Code of Regulations Section 3437 and 3456(b-c). The employer will provide gloves and knee pads for weeding, and longer hoes if needed. The employer will also provide training to prevent injury and illness, as indicated in Section 3203.
