Agricultural/Mechanical Design Engineer
We are looking for a Mechanical driven Design Engineer with a background in agricultural engineering to work on innovative farm system layouts and product designs. The position requires strong CAD capability, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver precise, manufacturable solutions.
The suitable candidate will be required to have :
- Experience in the design and layout of farm buildings and design for the animal flow
- Experience creating manufacturing drawings and being able to communicate job requirements clearly and concisely
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specify componentsand ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
- Research and develop ideas for new products. Prototype through to test
- Communicating with Marketing and Sales
- Including other duties as needed and assigned
R E Q U I R E M E N T S :
- Knowledge of the principles of design, sketching, CAD, industrial materials and processes, manufacturing methods,and engineering
- Creativity and technical knowledge are essential
- Strong communication skills - visual, verbal, and written
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Strong knowledge of the Agriculture sector
- Logically and technically minded with excellent organisational and personal management skills
