Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and Respond to Safeguarding Concerns: Detect signs of abuse or neglect, acting promptly to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults, while championing their rights.

• Lead and Support Safeguarding Enquiries: Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of mistreatment, gathering evidence, interviewing relevant parties, and taking decisive action.

• Integrate Safeguarding into Care Planning: Develop care plans that incorporate protective measures, particularly for individuals who lack capacity, working closely with them and their representatives.

• Collaborate with Multi-Agency Partners: Work with healthcare providers, the police, and local organisations to deliver a cohesive, comprehensive safeguarding response.

• Engage with Safeguarding Adults Boards: Contribute to the oversight and coordination of safeguarding practices, ensuring effective protection for vulnerable adults.
