What you will do:
- Conduct assessments to identify and manage risks to vulnerable adults.
- Develop and implement safeguarding plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Provide high-quality support and interventions to promote best outcomes for service users.
- Work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Make informed decisions based on legislation such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Maintain detailed records and prepare reports to inform case management and reviews.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- You must hold a degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work to apply.
- Registration with Social Work England is essential for this role.
- Bring your proven experience of working with vulnerable adults, particularly in safeguarding and risk management.
- Possess solid knowledge of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and other relevant legislation.
- Your communication, analytical, and decision-making skills should be second to none.
- Effectively manage a diverse and complex caseload with confidence and proficiency.
