SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to lift, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
The Information Technology Adjunct would be expected to have a flexible work schedule. Class assignments are scheduled for day, evening, or weekends.
ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Positions in this class typically require: ability to use a key board, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Provides assistance to students in their learning process by utilizing all appropriate college resources, materials, facilities, and educational technologies available to complement the teaching and learning process.
- Prepares and delivers classroom instruction for selected courses and serves as a valued member of the college.
- Assessment of student progress and success in the classroom and with individual course assignments.
- Provides a direct impact to student success.
- Calculate final course grades and submit by the semester deadline as needed.
- Understand and commit to serving a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and the campus community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Requires proven ability to teach computer network installation, microcomputer technology and computer applications.
- Holds standards for industry Certification including A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, Linux+, and MCSA.
- Ability to teach hands-on, remote, and online including labs.

- Master's degree in network related technology field.
- 1-2 years of professional and/or teaching at college-level experience.
- Computer network installation, microcomputer technology
- Industry Certification including A+, and CCNA.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- 3-5 years of professional and/or teaching at college -level experience.
- Industry Certifications including Network+, Security+, Linux, and MCSA.
- Experience with remote/online hands-on labs.
- Experience teaching course that map to CompTIA networking certifications.
- Professional experiences and/or teaching experiences in VMWare.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Commitment to encourage learning, with an enthusiastic attitude toward teaching.
