New York City College of Technology (City Tech) of the City University of New York (CUNY) is a comprehensive college offering associate and bachelor?s degree programs in downtown Brooklyn.
The Law and Paralegal Studies Department seeks Adjunct College Laboratory Technicians to support student coursework and laboratory activities for the Spring 2026 and/or Fall 2026 academic semesters.
In addition to general duties, Adjunct College Laboratory Technician responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Maintain, fabricate, modify, and repair student computers
- Conduct regular updates on computers for student use
- Create and post signage in the labs and secure devices used by students
- Ensure that computers are whitelisted for internet access each semester
- Submit tickets for equipment disposal
- Liaise with vendors for equipment support and parts replacement
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma with a minimum of four years related experience. Additional education may be used to meet the experience requirement: an Associate degree may be substituted for two years experience, and a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years experience.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with SPSS, Cortex XDR antivirus, FortiNAC and LanSchool Classroom Management Software is highly desirable.
COMPENSATION
$34.20/hr
